Welcome to Chalet Alpacas!

Note: Our Open Herd Account and Website is new and under construction. Please check back regularly for more details and updated information.

We are located in the beautiful town of Niagara-on-the-Lake where the Niagara River meets Lake Ontario just 7.8miles/12.8km from the USA/Canada border. In our town you will find agricultural vistas, a heritage district that is rich with arts, history, and unique specialty shops. We are located amidst award winning wineries, culinary experiences and also operate a thriving Bed and Breakfast.
Our alpaca fibre farm is proud to be home to award winning production stock with elite fibre characteristics and show ring presence.
Our aim is to decrease variation, and increase uniformity of superior fleece in our credentialed alpacas to achieve genetically predictable offspring. Temperament and health of our alpacas is of great value to us in sustaining a quality breeding program.
We occasionally offer some of our quality dual registered ARI and CLAA alpacas for sale based on our annual breeding program decisions. There is an alpaca store on site, and as we continue to build our infrastructure will expand to having value added luxury fibre items online marketing options.
Pre-arranged visits are recommended for those interested in learning about the alpaca industry and boarding/financing/mentorship options can be individually arranged for purchased animals.
